This is also why he gets paid big money. This is not so much a defense of him being in the right. It is a defense of the actual event. The over the top, profanity-laced tirade is what I appreciate. I enjoy seeing how people react/overreact in given situations as it proves to be very entertaining.. to me. The whole idea of this sharing is to point out the flaws in his delivery but also to bring some perspective to it, as I consider myself bordering adept on the topic. Rather than point out that Bale is, indeed, a prima donna and pulverize him from that angle, I figured the entertaining thing to do would be an examination of his actions. It is no easy feat to pull of a legit rant, I know bcuz I have failed many times on this blog alone, but breaking it down for someone to perhaps understand better was the goal rather than giving Bale a proper beatdown for being a whiny puss.. cuz I think given the right perspective that's exactly how I can come off as being when I set off on one of my rants here. Maybe it's from being below-the-line in the entertainment industry. It sounded to me like they were doing the "the two year old is throwing a tantrum, just let him wear himself out" routine. The film is losing tens of thousands of dollars every minute he stands there yelling instead of acting, so the most important thing is to stop having him try to make up his own words and get him back to saying the scriptwriters. You could try to reason with him, like saying, "well Christian, I was tightening the clamp on the light that was swaying so that it didn't fall down and crush your empty, paper-thin skull AND set you on fire at the same time" but it wouldn't do any good. Like a two year old, he has to feel like he is in control. So you just let him burn himself out. The most important thing to the film isn't to make him see reason. It is to get him to stop acting like a woman and holding back his acting-pussy, and get him on the fucking soundstage. (Note that he threatened to walk out several times. It is the only thing someone as useless as an actor has going for them. I look forward to the day that CG advances so that the insufferable little shits can't use that threat anymore.)
